Big 12 commissioner Bob Bowlsby isn't sympathetic to UCF's claim to deserve a spot in the College Football Playoff.

The Big 12 Conference announced a public reprimand of Kansas football's Joe Dineen, Dorance Armstrong Jr., Jeremiah Booker, and Daniel Wise for refusing to shake hands with Baker Mayfield.

Big 12 Commissioner Bob Bowlsby and Big 12 chairman David Boren announced on Monday that the conference will not be expanding despite months of speculation. 

The Big 12 is moving forward with expansion talks, set to interview a plethora of schools.

With news of the Big 12's possible expansion, Sports on Earth's David Ubben reported on Tuesday that that Cincinnati and UConn sit atop the conference's so called "fluid wish list."

In a media conference call following the Big 12 Board meeting, OU president David Boren said the conference unanimously approved moving ahead with expansion exploration.
